A Very Special Nursery Feature | Baby Tesar

If you follow our blog you know that I love nursery design.  I’ve had an on-going series of blog posts featuring nurseries with adorable attention to detail…so when we found that we were expecting a little one I already had plenty of ideas rolling around in my head.  The question was how to fit it all together!  I’m definitely in love with the way this room turned out and it has become my favorite room in the house!

I’d intended on posting photos of her nursery before she was born…but motivation was waning.  I then intended to post them shortly after she was born…but with little sleep and no free time it didn’t happen.  So now, 9 months later, I am finally getting around to photographing it and posting some shots to look back on her first room!  You’ll notice that Finley is actually photobombing all of my shots of the room [and Tito snuck his way into a few].  Look closely…there she is snoozing away in her crib.  The only quiet time that I had to snap the photos was during naptime [translation: this is the only time I could follow the cleaning tips published on Fresh Maids House Deep Cleaning to keep the room clean long enough to take them].   And yes, I’m well aware of how dirty the mirror is.  She loves that thing…and it shows.  The tiny handprints are too cute to wash off [at least that’s my excuse for not cleaning it]. As clean washing is indispensable in child care you can contact experts from Pressure Washing in Roseville CA to get it done. To maintain clean appliances is also part of child care that can be ensured by the guys from EZ Westchester Junk Removal | EZWJR who are the professionals in this field. But it is not that easy to clean home appliances like AC and chimney, you can click this over here now to avail cleaning services.

Color inspiration for the room:  coral and gray with pops of silver and gold.

Shortly after we found out that I was pregnant we took a trip to Philadelphia and this book was in our hotel room. I thought it was the cutest thing ever and instagrammed a photo of it saying that I wanted to keep it! Susan promptly got online and ordered it for me and had it sent to the house as an Easter’/’Congratulations on being pregnant’ gift.Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1035Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1034This cup is a very special piece to include in the nursery. It was my grandma’s silver cup that she used when she was a little one! It was so special for her to choose to pass that on to me at my baby shower. I need to give it another polish and will get Finley’s name engraved on the opposite side. Such a gorgeous keepsake for her!Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1036Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1024Most of the items on the floating shelves were gifts…the silver frame from a cousin, the Child of God frame was from grandma for baptism, piggy bank was a shower gift. I’m also so glad that I found the coral candle holder on clearance at Target…it’s perfect for tossing headbands and bows into [none of which she ever wears…her head has always been too big for headbands and she barely has enough hair for bows]…I’m all about hiding clutter and keeping things close-by for easy access!

This branch was one that we found in the creek near the family cabin in Ouray, Colorado last summer shortly after we found out that we were having a girl! It ended up being the perfect length and size! The clothes hung on it are some of my favorites from when she was a tiny little thing…they are too cute to box up and I’m so glad I am able to keep a few favorites out to remind me of her precious newborn stage! It’s now used mainly as a ‘binkie bowl,’ but early on I used it to hold the essentials that I was always using like gas drops, gripe water, Vitamin D drops, etc. Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1032Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1061Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1012Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1013Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1003Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1011Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1002Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1001Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1008Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1007Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1006Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1071Coral Gray Nursery Boise Newborn Photographer-1073

Beautiful nursery, Kelly! Can’t believe your baby is getting so big. Neat to be able to capture these moments and details as they pass so quickly! Fun seeing you all recently!ReplyCancel
